Displaying Artwork

What to do with all that amazing artwork your children crank out!!

I change out seasonal display areas! I have a clothesline running across our playroom, and a wall in the kitchen we fill up! You could also utilize your refrigerator or a corkboard!

Displaying children's artwork for all to see has great benefits!

๐Ÿ‘‰ Boosts confidence.

๐Ÿ‘‰ Gives children's ownership over their work.

๐Ÿ‘‰ Givess children a sense of ownership over the space the art is kept.

๐Ÿ‘‰ Encourages them to create more.

๐Ÿ‘‰ Can help YOU when it comes to state quarterly reports. Take photos of those displays for portfolio sake!

๐Ÿ‘‰ Helps children expand or build upon lessons they've already learned.

๐Ÿ‘‰ Demonstrates a sense of pride from you and in your child!

But, how do I keep everything and not drown in lovely pieces of artwork from my children!? I don't keep it all! And we don't have to feel guilty for that, either. Change it our every 4-6 weeks. Put items you exchange out in storage, a portfolio, or the recycling bin. Just make sure to snap a photo of the item before you recycle it. This way if your kid asks what happened to it, you can always have something to look back on. ๐ŸŽจ๐Ÿ–Œ๐Ÿ–
